Lloyd’s Electric is an authorized warranty center for Generac Guardian Standby Generator Systems, offering a full line of home standby and commercial units from 7KW - 70KW single phase to 70KW - 150 KW three phase 480 volt. This type of system is completely automatic and produces electricity as soon as it senses a power outage, 24 hours a day, shutting itself down when power is re-established.

The Generac Guardian Generator is fueled by the natural gas or liquid propane supply at your home or business. No extension cords or gasoline are required. It’s especially beneficial for locations that may not have a stable electrical supply, experience frequent power surges or are located in outlying, more rural areas.

Our staff is certified for installation, warranty work and repairs, and we offer generator break-in service as well as annual maintenance agreements. Protect yourself from downtime and lost productivity due to a power outage with a Generac Guardian Standby Generator so you can feel safe and secure.

How It Works

The Generac Guardian Generator automatically & continuously monitors incoming power from the utility line.

  1. When utility power is interrupted, the control system in the generator automatically senses the loss of power & signals the generator to start.
  2. The automatic transfer switch safely closes off the utility line & simultaneously opens a new power line from the generator.
  3. The Generac Guardian Generator supplies electricity to the critical circuits that were originally chosen to back-up.
  4. When utility line voltage returns, the system transfers the electrical load back to the utility line. The generator continues to run for an engine cool-down period of several minutes, and the entire system stands ready for the next power outage.

To ensure the system is always ready when you need it, your generator will run a 10-12 minute self-test cycle every week.
